This 1971-S Eisenhower Proof Dollar was struck at the San Francisco Mint in 40% silver and comes in its U.S. Mint hard plastic display case and brown presentation box.
Condition & Photos
Reflective Proof fields show light haze and uneven pale color around the portrait and lettering. The display case has visible scuffs and reflections, which affect the coin's photographed color. The brown box shows surface scratches and edge/corner wear. All four original photographs show the exact coin and packaging included. The reverse is photographed through the packaging window, so fine surface details are less clearly visible. This coin is uncertified; no numerical Proof grade, Cameo, or Deep Cameo designation is assigned. No separate certificate is shown in the supplied photographs.
Please review all photographs carefully for the exact condition of the coin being offered. The coin pictured is the coin you will receive.
Dwight D. Eisenhower's portrait appears on the obverse. The reverse depicts an eagle landing on the Moon with Earth in the distance, inspired by the Apollo 11 mission insignia.
