The coins were photographed through the clear plastic windows of their holders. Wrinkles, scuffs, and glare in that plastic can create apparent lines or distortion over the coins. The seller notes that some apparent defects in these photos are on the plastic, rather than the coin surfaces.
The obverse shows the Statue of Liberty with the dual dates 1776–2026. The reverse depicts a torch being passed between hands, with the inscription “KNOWLEDGE IS THE ONLY GUARDIAN OF TRUE LIBERTY.”
