Condition & Appearance
Hand-poured copper naturally shows organic casting texture, flow lines, dimples, pits, voids, surface marks, and slight edge irregularities. Polishing brightens the surface without removing the individual character of the casting. The reverse has pronounced rippled casting texture, with small natural pits and surface marks visible throughout. Copper may naturally tone or develop patina over time.
